Boneless boar mince comes from an uncastrated pig that has been used for breeding or is over 1 year old.
It is a leaner protein usually, than that of pigs, that are slaughtered at around 6 months old, but can from time to time be quite fatty if the animal is closer to 1 year old.
We do allow up to 20% fat in our boar mince as they vary in age so please be mindful of this when ordering
